We left home about 8:30 a.m. on Sunday......Got to Trinidad and Jim said "lets keep going"..... The weather was still good so we continued on down the road with no major events. Traffic wasn't bad but the closer we got to Sante Fe, NM the worse the wind got and we had some snow.... We continued to fight the wind most of the afternoon and evening.
Finally we got to Albuquerque, NM, found a nice hotel and decided to call it a day. Went to the casino for a while, had some dinner, came back to the room and crashed....
We will head for Tuson, AZ today and see how it goes. We'll be going through areas we've never been before so it might be a more interesting day. The weather looks clear ahead....
The South Pacific sure seems a long ways away........
