Leaving Mexico behind us and saying goodbye to all our new friends, we hit the road again for Biloxi, Mississippi. We followed the coast and arrived in Biloxi a couple of days later. After months of living in the camper we were ready for some space and pampering We parked in a nice campground, threw some clean clothes in a bag and headed to the Beau Rivage hotel and casino.

The suite was beautiful and just what we needed
We spent 4 glorious days and nights resting, visiting friends, gambling, and resting some more.....
The evening we returned to the camper
we seen some really bad storm clouds in the distance.
Through that night the area got 13" of rain. Waking up the next morning to flood warnings we knew it was time to head west for home...........
Our only mishap.....Going back through Arkansas, Kansas & Oklahoma we had a blowout near Muskogee, Oklahoma! That was not surprising after some of the roads we went over in Mexico...... We called for a roadside repair through the "Good Sam's club" insurance we carry, they showed up in no time with a new tire and we were on our way again.
After a couple more days of hard driving we were getting close to home and our beloved Rocky mountains. They were a welcoming sight.
We had left for Phar, Texas on January 22nd and returned home on April 6th. We had put 8,258 miles on the pickup. The family was anxious to hear all about the trip so a couple of days later I had a "mexican party". We ate, looked at pictures and passed out souvenirs for all........
